Six Weeks To A Six Pack?
Is six weeks to a six pack really possible?
The question whether or not six weeks to a six pack is entirely possible is really quite simple to answer…yes, it is possible in six weeks to have a six pack but, and this is a big but (no pun intended!), it does depend upon how much extra weight you are carrying.
If a 6 pack is possible in 6 weeks why then does the six pack shortcuts program quote double that ?
The six pack shortcuts program, devised by personal trainer Mike Chang, is quoted as saying 12 weeks will be required to achieve a six pack, which is perfectly understandable seeing as most people who choose to use this program often need to lose some weight before they actually start seeing the benefits of their muscle development exercises.
To be completely honest Mike’s program would lose quite a bit of credibility if it promised that EVERYONE could achieve exactly the same results in a much shorter time span, because it’s simply not feasible.
How to get a 6 pack in 6 weeks!
Everyone has a set of six pack abs waiting to be toned up, which can be done relatively quickly, the trouble is, as has already been mentioned, you will not be able to see them if they are hidden under a layer of body fat.
In order to see and then show off those abdominal muscles that you will have been working really hard on, you will have to follow a specific diet that is lower in fat yet which still provides your muscles with the energy and protein they need in order to continue to increase in mass.
As well as ensuring that less than a quarter of your daily calorie intake is in the form of fats you need to be incorporating low to medium intensity cardiovascular workouts on a daily basis which should be scheduled for after your muscle building routines as it will further increase their fat burning potential.
It goes without saying that as you get fitter and your muscles become stronger the more intense your workouts should become. If your workout regime is not progressive and in line with your current fitness levels you will not see any marked improvement in muscle development.
And that just about covers it…’six weeks to a six pack‘ is perfectly doable if you do not have any belly fat, but if you are overweight then you need to be realistic, it will obviously take longer for your efforts to bear fruit.
It is for this reason that a program like six pack shortcuts is absolutely vital for most people looking to get in shape and tone up their body because it offers a step by step process that is far easier to follow than if they were trying to formulate a routine for themselves.
The be and end all of it is that a six pack is perfectly feasible in six weeks if you are already lean, but expect it to take longer if you are not. To achieve the best results you WILL need to get the proper balance between diet, cardiovascular training and strength exercises (and not just hundreds of bicycle crunches either!). Now it’s simply down to you to follow it through!
Catch up you all soon,
Vincent
